Voor de kerst vossenjacht zijn alle kinderen van de school een kerstlampion aan het knutselen, en dit is het model dat ik met de kinderen heb gemaakt.
For Christmas all the children at our school are supposed to make a Christmas light for the fox hunt, and this is the one I cooked up.
For starters you need 11 times this shape. I had the children cut out the outside and use a needle for the star. Of course you can use other shapes for the inside.
This shape covers the top of the Christmas light and keeps it in shape. You need only one.
On the inside of shapes you put some kite paper. You can use different colours but one is also fine. Then you fold the outsides of the shape which you can see folded in the next picture. It's easy to do so on a ruler.
Then you glue the shapes together. You have to use a strong glue like a fast drying woodglue of tacky glue. In my experience the usual hobbyglues are not strong enough.
Here you can see the ball take shape. I already attached the thread at the top but made it a bit tight. Better to leave some room so it is easier to hook up.
Should you need the Powerpoint to use in a classroom you can always mail me. Just click on my profil for the data. Hugs Frea
